NOC Support Engineer

• Research security events using internal and open-source tools.
• Respond to health and welfare alerts.
• Perform network, system, and security audits.
• Escalate incidents using established policies and procedures.
• Author and maintain support documentation.
• Learn and attend training on new, unfamiliar technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred. 
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Professional understanding of Linux RHEL/CentOS. 
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Experience analyzing and investigating security alerts using open-source tools.
• Basic understanding of network architecture and system performance bottlenecks.
• Basic knowledge of cyber security principles, tools, and devices.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.

Education 

• Relevant college degree plus one year of experience, or three years of relevant experience
